Geography guessing game. Guess where the city is on the map and score points based on your accuracy.

At a glance

How it works

A city name appears on the screen. Players must place a cursor on the map on their phone to indicate where they think it is located. The closer the cursor is to the correct position, the more points the player scores.

How a game plays out

Setup

Before starting, you can adjust:

• The number of cities to guess
• The geographic theme (France, Europe, World...)

During the game

1. The name of a city appears on the TV
2. Each player places their cursor on their phone's map
3. A countdown gives everyone time to think
4. The correct answer is revealed along with each player's distance
5. Points are awarded based on accuracy

End of the game

The final leaderboard is displayed. Top scores are automatically saved to your venue's records.

Hosting tips

At the start: "We're going to test your sense of direction! A city will appear and you need to place it on the map. The closer you are, the more points you score."

During the game:

• Comment on surprising answers: "Oh, someone placed Paris in Belgium!"
• Celebrate great results: "Amazing, only 12 km away!"
• Build suspense between each round

In case of a tie: Suggest a bonus round as a head-to-head duel between the tied players.
