Collect user data
Enable email and player information collection from the dashboard.
What is it for?
Data collection lets you gather information about your players (email, first name, phone number, age, etc.) to build your contact list. You can then reach out to invite them to your upcoming events.
Enable data collection
Go to the dashboard
Head over to b2b.unboared.com and log in.
Open User Data
In the left-hand menu, click on User Data.
Enable collection
Toggle the switch to Enabled. You can then choose which data to collect.
Collectable data
| Data | Description |
|---|---|
| The player's email address (with a newsletter consent checkbox) | |
| First name / Last name | The player's identity |
| Phone number | The player's phone number |
| Age | The player's age |
Each data field can be enabled or disabled individually. You only collect what you actually need.
What players see
When data collection is enabled, players see an additional form during their connection (after choosing their username and avatar). A GDPR consent checkbox is displayed for email collection.
Export data
The collected data is available directly in the dashboard as a table. You can export it in:
- CSV: to import into a spreadsheet (Excel, Google Sheets)
- JSON: to integrate into a technical tool or CRM
Collecting personal data is subject to GDPR. Make sure you comply with the applicable regulations. The consent checkbox shown to players covers you for the collection itself, but you are responsible for how you use the data.
Start by collecting only the email. It is the minimum needed to reach out to your players again, and it does not slow down the connection process too much.
