Communication best practices
How to promote your Unboared events to attract more people and build customer loyalty.
Create recurring events
The best way to engage your customers is to establish a regular appointment. Pick a fixed day and make your game night a weekly event.
For example: "Join us every Friday at 8 PM for game night!"
Organize tournaments! Over the course of a month, hold qualifiers each week, then a grand finale at the end of the month. It's an excellent way to build loyalty and keep players coming back.
Invest in physical signage
Table tents, posters at the entrance: make your event visible to everyone walking by. A QR code on a table tent works really well -- people scan it out of curiosity.
Promote on social media
- D-2: announce the event with an eye-catching image or video
- D-1: follow up with a reminder
- During: post live stories
- After: share results, photos, and highlights
Offer a corporate package
Corporate venue hire is a significant market. Offer a package that includes Unboared entertainment: afterworks, team buildings, client events.
Bring in influencers
Reach out to local micro-influencers (5k-10k followers) and invite them to an event in exchange for a drink. They'll be happy to share the experience on their channels.
Encourage sharing
Many players like to take a photo of their score. Encourage them to post on social media, tagging your venue and using your hashtags.
Feature it on your website
Add a section to your website mentioning your Unboared events. It's an extra selling point for people looking for a venue for their night out.
